ALEXANDRIA, Va. — The American Geosciences Institute (AGI) and ExxonMobil Exploration are currently recruiting teachers for the 13th annual national Geoscience and STEM Teacher Leadership Academy for K-8 teachers. The 2021 academy will begin with an introductory webinar in early July, with the main academy experience taking place virtually July 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, and 29.
ALEXANDRIA, Va. – The American Geosciences Institute (AGI) currently is inviting school administrators to nominate teachers for a unique professional development experience, the 12th annual AGI/ExxonMobil Exploration Teacher Leadership Academy.
Each year, K-8 teachers from around the country meet in Houston for the weeklong Teacher Leadership Academy, in which they learn Earth science content, explore hands-on STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) activities, gain real-world science experiences, and begin their journey as STEM education leaders.
